Stratfield in Zwolle: Werken aan waarde voor aandeelhouders

Hermine Meissner

Getting the best out of yourself for someone else. That is the motto of Hermine Meissner, junior business adviser at Stratfield. Hermine studied Business Economics at the Christelijke Hogeschool Windesheim. After a number of financial assignments through a secondment firm, she ended up working for a carpet manufacturer. There, she was mainly occupied with internal processes. Looking back, ‘This didn’t give me enough job satisfaction. For this reason, I made a conscious decision to take a six-month sabbatical to reassess my ambitions, among other things. A career coach helped me with this. During those talks, I discovered that I could gain satisfaction by helping people to move forward and that is something you can’t do with superficial contacts. You need to have a genuine interest in each other to be able to do this and the will to start something together. From there, you can work towards the best conceivable solution.’

At the end of 2021, Hermine got to know Stratfield. ‘What struck me even during the first meeting was the open culture and the pleasant atmosphere. They shared information with me straightaway. That gave me a warm and welcome feeling. But what appeals to me even more is that everything that Stratfield thinks and does centres around the human dimension. This creates space for trust and loyalty towards each other which, for me, is the best definition of commitment. My challenge for the coming period? To gain a great deal of knowledge and experience to develop my own originality and creativity.’
